Natural Bridge Speedway Releases 2012 Schedule
Natural Bridge Speedway promoter’s Larry and Karey Ramsey are pleased to announce the 2012 racing schedule. The 2012 schedule has everything from 5 divisions of racing on a weekly basis to Super Late Models and everything in-between. The open wheel modifieds, the Steel Block Bandits, the Three State Flyers, and the Sunoco Fall Classic all return during the 2012 season. In 2011, Natural Bridge Speedway formed a partnership with the American Motor Racing Association. The American Motor Racing Association is a national sactioning body, based in Mt. Alto, WV, which sanctions open wheel modified racing in the United States. In 2011, AMRA modified racing appeared at Natural Bridge Speedway for the first time in the speedway’s history. Race fans will see the AMRA open wheel modified series again in 2012. The modified racers will appear on three occasions in 2012, with the first visit scheduled for Saturday night, May 26. The AMRA Road Warrior Tour, featuring NASCAR driver Kenny Schrader, will visit Natural Bridge Speedway on Saturday night, June 9. The AMRA Road Warrior Tour event will bring a strong contingent of drivers seeking the AMRA Road Warrior Challenge championship. The Three State Flyers super late model series also returns to Natural Bridge Speedway in 2012. In the inaugural Three State Flyer event in 2010, Jason Covert of York Haven, PA picked up the victory. Jeremy Miller of Gettysburg, PA raced to victory lane in the 2011 event. Miller was followed across the stripe by Covert, DJ Myers, Ronnie DeHaven, and Devin Friese. The Three State Flyers will visit Natural Bridge Speedway on Saturday night, June 23, for a $3,000 to win event. |
